Heartburn is a burning sensation of your stomach and throat and has nothing to do with your heart. It occurs when stomach acids rise back up into the esophagus. Indigestion is a feeling of being stuffed and bloated. Both symptoms are caused by the pregnancy hormones, which cause the muscles to relax throughout your body.
