Baby immunisation

My baby is so small and vulnerable. Why can’t I wait until he is older to inoculate him?

In spite of the immunity that they obtain if breastfed, small babies are at high risk to contract childhood diseases. For this reason, the inoculation schedule begins early, and the first injections are given soon after birth. The trauma of this event has to be weighed against the risk of losing your baby unnecessarily to childhood illnesses.
