Burping – Father’s Skill

I really struggle to get my baby to burp, yet as soon as her father picks her up she gives a huge belch. I really find it frustrating and actually get jealous! Any tips to get my burping skills up to his?

Sometimes it seems that little girls are born with the ability to manipulate their dads from day one! Jokes aside, it seems possible that the warmth and size of men’s hands accounts for their skill in burping babies! Since dads often feel left out, I think this is a great way to help them feel included in the new family. Let dad be the chief burper. It’s a vital job!
