 Tooth – Reason for baby teeth :
 

I just wondered why nature puts babies through the trauma of producing two sets of teeth. Just think how carefree babyhood would be without the pain and fevers caused by teething!

Permanent teeth only develop once the jaw is properly formed. This is the case with many animals, not just humans. So the juvenile teeth are required so that the baby is able to chew while the jaw is still forming. Nature does know best, even though we are sometimes puzzled by her ways!
