My tiny baby is a noisy sleeper and sighs periodically. Should
I be concerned about this?
When tiny babies sigh in their sleep it is a healthy sign
that their lungs are developing. The sigh tends to open
the lungs up and prevents the tiny new passages from folding
closed, and also keeps the baby’s breathing pattern
regular. So this really is nothing to worry about.
